Partners
The White Mountain Stewardship Contract (WMSC) was developed by Future Forest in partnership with the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests and other wood-based companies in the White Mountains.
One of the project’s primary objectives was to facilitate private industry and investment in markets, products and materials made available, in hopes of reducing treatment costs borne by the U.S. taxpayer. In addition, this investment would help create employment, sustain future forest management and improve forest health conditions.
Future Forest has worked with local organizations like the Northern Arizona Wood Products Association (NAWPA) and the Southwest Sustainable Forests Partnership. In addition, businesses that purchased material from the contractor include:
APC Pallets (Phoenix)
